How much does a DJ cost?
If you have never hired a DJ before, that is probably
one of the first questions that you might ask yourself. It is also not an easy
one to answer until we are able to ask you a few questions. Just as the service
required is not the same for all functions, the pricing is not either. All
events are similar in one aspect…you hire a DJ to play music.
Is that all you want him/her to do?
Are you interested in having the DJ interact and
entertain your guests?
Will the DJ be asked to provide games and activities
for kids (or adults)?
Are there formalities during the event with which the
DJ has to coordinate?
Is the function being held inside or outside?
Is there a specific DJ you would like to hire?
And most importantly, on what day and at what time
will your event be held?
On the busiest day of the week (Saturday) and the
busiest months of the year, our DJs will command a higher charge.
So, you may wish to consider a Sunday afternoon
wedding. Or, why not plan a “New Year” social in January instead of a Holiday
Party in December? Even a “Surprise Birthday Party” is more of a surprise on a
Monday evening than a Saturday night….and could save you a lot of money!
In order for you to stay within a budget, we try to
provide you options.
The base price for our DJ service ranges from $300-500
for a minimum of three hours of service.
Each additional hour costs $100-125.
We do not
charge for set up time if completed immediately before the contracted service
time.

This is a great entertainment addition to any event
for all ages. Our karaoke song selections can be viewed online so that your
guests can prepare themselves before the party. A karaoke package includes
songbooks with over 8000 different song choices, two cordless microphones and a
TV for viewing the lyrics. Cost: $75-125.
Would you like to add a club-like atmosphere to your party?
Does a disco ball daze you with excitement? Our lights package can include
anything from simple lighting to the most extravagant lighting and a mirror
ball. Lights that change color and even dance to the beat are available. Cost:
$75-150.

Did you see one of our DJs at an event? Do you
specifically want to reserve him/her for your event? We would like to know
because we believe it is simply good business to schedule the same DJ for a
referral job. However, this cannot always be guaranteed. We will do our best to
honor your request. Yet, if you would like to guarantee the same DJ will be at
your event, there may be an additional fee. Cost: $50-100.
If your function begins at 7pm, then your DJ would
normally arrive between 6:00-6:30 for set up. However, if you require that the
DJ complete the set up earlier then a fee for the additional time is charged. Cost:
$50-100/hr.
Outside of a tent rental to protect the DJ’s
equipment, additional equipment is rarely needed for a regular event. We can
provide the proper equipment needed to play different size venues ranging from
inside your living room to outside on a football field. The most common need
for additional equipment is during a wedding. For example, if a sound system is
required inside for the reception and another system outside for the ceremony,
there would be an additional equipment charge. You may wish to consider the
option of a reduced transfer fee. Please call for more details. Cost: $50-150.

register our DJ service on your “Wish List” of wedding gifts. Many brides and
grooms are paying the costs of their own weddings….and weddings are not cheap!
So instead of three toasters or a dozen gift cards to places where you never
shop, why not use a gift card for your DJ service? Simply by registering you
will receive a $25 discount and you may end up having your DJ service cost you
absolutely nothing!
Anyone who contracts our services twice during the
year is eligible for a special third event for FREE! Certain restrictions
apply.
